The wet ink of a printer flows from high concentration to low concentration area. Inkjet printers put ink on the paper in small portions. Due the change from high to low, ordinary photo paper images aren’t as clear as the coated ones. These papers are chemically treated with the problem that is why they provide evenly distributed ink all over the paper.
